THE OCTODISTRO TERMS OF SERVICE

1. About Octodistro

The Octodistro provides digital music and video distribution services that allow artists, labels, and rights holders to deliver their content to digital streaming platforms and stores. These services may include:

• Audio distribution
• Music video distribution
• Metadata management
• Royalty reporting
• Content identification systems
• Analytics dashboards

2. Eligibility

To use the services you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal authority to distribute the content you upload
• Provide accurate account information

Octodistro reserves the right to reject accounts at its discretion.

3. User Accounts

Users must create an account to access distribution services. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining account security
• Keeping login credentials confidential
• All activity under your account

You must notify Octodistro immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of your music, videos, and other content. However, by uploading content to Octodistro you grant us a non-exclusive license to:

• Collect royalties on your behalf

This license exists only for the purpose of providing the services.

5. Prohibited Content

Users may not upload content that:

• Uses another artist’s name without authorization
• Contains fraudulent metadata
• Includes artificially generated streams or manipulation
• Violates platform rules of digital stores

Octodistro reserves the right to remove such content.

6. Distribution to Platforms

Octodistro distributes content to third-party platforms including: streaming services; download stores; social media platforms. These platforms operate independently and may: reject releases; remove content; enforce their own policies. Octodistro is not responsible for decisions made by these platforms.

7. Royalty Payments

Royalty payments are governed by the Distribution Agreement. Octodistro collects royalties from digital platforms and distributes earnings to artists according to the agreed revenue split. Payments may depend on: platform reporting timelines; minimum payout thresholds; payment processor requirements.

8. Account Termination

Octodistro may suspend or terminate accounts if users: violate these Terms; upload fraudulent content; engage in artificial streaming activity; breach platform policies. Content may also be removed from digital stores if violations occur.

9. Limitation of Liability

Octodistro is not liable for: revenue loss from platform decisions; platform delays or reporting errors; third-party service interruptions. The platform is provided “as is” without guarantees of availability or revenue.

10. Changes to These Terms

Octodistro may update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notice. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
